Risk management is concerned with risks and measures of control within the business processes. One can distinguish
several types of risk, e.g. Market risk (including interest rate risk), Credit risk, Liquidity risk, Reputational risk,
Legal risk and Operational risk. Depending of the engagement, client, etc., one or more of these risk types will
usually be applicable when looking at the current state.
In principle it is useful to at least look at operational risk when determining the current state, because it is
closely related to the design of processes.
